Client Spotlight: Julia Baguio of Bloominess Floral Artistry
What is a Client Spotlight?
I get to meet some pretty stellar business owners are at LCC. And when I say stellar, I mean like so stellar I cannot keep it to myself.
So, each branding client I work with gets the chance to shine (and show off their new brand) here on the blog.
Meet Julia Baguio
Owner or Bloominess Floral Artistry
1. TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS IN 3 SENTENCES OR LESS.
Flowers. Love. Growth.
Julia's Visual Brand...
Throughout our coaching, we worked together to dig deep behind her why and her motivation to do what she does and who she wants to serve. The end result is a beautifully curated brand that showcases her passion for florals and expertise in giving a truly one of a kind customer experience.
Beyond creating a gorgeous visual brand, we also worked together to create a social media plan, streamline her client on boarding process, defined her brand voice, and executed multiple marketing campaigns to get her clients before her brand officially launched!
Love, Bloom, Give, Connection, Light
2. OKAY, NOW LET'S REWIND. STARTING FROM THE BEGINNING, WHAT IS YOUR STORY?
I’m a busy mother of three rambunctious (and sweet) little boys. They are my world, and most of the time my life revolves around them. I’ve been home with them and I’ve been pouring my love and energy into them. Before becoming a mama, I worked as a print graphic artist. A preface to that was a career in customer service for many years. That’s my journey career-wise: a bunch of experience and passion all mixed together, leading me to create Bloominess.
My boys continue to grow up quickly ― faster than I can seem to keep track of sometimes! Over the last couple years as they all started school, I began to really miss my creative side. After some soul-searching to find out what the next step is, I discovered my calling: Floral Artist. I feel called to do this. I believe that flowers have the power to positively impact relationships, to connect deeper with nature, to bring smiles to people’s faces, and to improve people’s well-being. Bloominess is an avenue to share love, light, and joy!
3. HAS BEING A WOMAN EFFECTED YOUR ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY? IF SO, TELL US ABOUT IT.
Being a woman effects every area of my life I would say. The biggest is probably that I often lead with my heart. My entrepreneurial journey so far has been mainly working with and serving other women. Women are amazing! We get things done & make it happen every day! Being a women entrepreneur brings femininity to a world that needs more love.
4. WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST REWARDING PART OF STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS SO FAR?
The most rewarding so far is seeing my clients faces when I present them with their arrangements and see their face light up!

5. WHAT IS/WAS YOUR BIGGEST MOTIVATION TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
I would say my biggest motivation is two-fold. My own passion for nature & creativity, mixed with a strong desire to want to make a difference in my community.
6. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE?
Ooo that’s a good one. For this phase I’m at in my life my current favorite quote is:
“Do whatever brings you to life, then. Follow your own fascinations, obsessions, and compulsions. Trust them. Create whatever causes a revolution in your heart.” ― Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
7. IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE YOUR NEW BRAND IN ONE WORD WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Blooming. Why? Blooming is about flourishing, thriving, and living with exuberance. A time of great beauty, health, and artistry. Plus I’m a florist!
8. WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST TAKE AWAY FROM OUR COACHING THAT GAVE YOU ALL THE LIGHTBULBS?
My biggest take away is how you guided me through my fears. How you taught me that this is MY business and I can do it my way. If I do things that are true to myself I will attract the right kind of clients and there will be more authentic connection for clients and myself.
10. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO ANOTHER LADY THAT IS THINKING ABOUT CHASING HER DREAMS?
Never give up on your dreams! You May wonder how it could possibly happen, and my motto so far has been — just go for it! We all have so much to learn and grow in no matter what we are passionate about. Even if you are new - the only way you will learn is by doing it! So that’s how I’ve done it, but jumping in. It takes a lot of courage this way, but if you don’t give up you can only keep getting better!
A little more about Julia:
It’s my goal to create designs that reflect each client’s style, needs, and emotion. My favorite thing is to see my client's faces light up when I present them with a creation made just for them, their loved ones, or a special event. Bloominess offers artistic floral creations in the San Francisco Bay Area. My endeavor is to create deeper connections by way of unique love-filled floral creations.
